"Don’t be fooled by the outside looks. This place is a gem. The old look of the place matches the food in a good way. Food taste very authentic and nice, reminds me of Indian food in Penang, Malaysia. Variety of things that other places might not have. Worth a visit. Not the cleanest or tidiest place but it’s the general vibe of the place that reminds me of Penang."

"Definitely the best dosa I’ve had in Adelaide. I always say I’m going to try a thali as they look great, but I can’t go past the Mysore masala dosa. The wadas and bhajis are great too. It’s not salubrious, but it feels really authentic and the service is always friendly."

"More indian food! Overall, the food at this restaurant was really good. No frills. However, the service was slow, so don't go there when you're super famished . But at least the food was worth the wait! . Paper masala dosa: such a nice presentation! Super cool and delicious . . Plain dosa: very tasty as well. . Chilli chicken dry: the chicken was really tasty! Great dish . . Gobi Manchurian: crispy cauliflower florets in a curry sauce. Delicious curry! Loved the cauliflower . . Vino's prawn curry: delicious flavours! . Naan: just can't go wrong with a good naan . . Vada: deep fried urud dal dumplings. Delicious dumplings with tasty sauces!"

"Having grown up eating Idly, ‘roti canai’, fried Vadai and ‘thosai’ in Malaysia, it appears that Vino’s is the only place in Adelaide that does South Indian cuisine very well. Addendum - since Covid, it’s only the two of them running the shop, and on busy weekends things can get slow. So please be understanding."

"Most underrated restaurant when it comes to the taste. In my opinion this is possibly the best South Indian restaurant in South Australia. The looks of the restaurant both inside and outside is below average but when it comes to taste, it’s just amazing. Proper authentic taste and very reasonably priced. If you want to taste some real flavour of India, please visit this restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is such a gentleman and so grounded. It’s afamily owned small business, so the service at times could be slow. It’s totally worth the wait though. I would 100% recommend this place"

"If u r looking for the dosa , idli or vada this is the stop in Adelaide. Have tried dosa and sambar at many places but this place brings its closer to the best. Vada is fluffy and soft. Surely shall visit again for chettinad and kerala partha"
